The Hibiscus Coast Boat Club has been established on the Whangaparaoa coast for over 30 years. The club is family orientated, safe boating is the number one rule and organises fishing competitions as well as a variety of social events. You don’t have to have a boat to be a member.
So what do we do?
- Monthly fishing competitons with prizes for the kids and adults.
- Invitations to other club’s fishing competitions.
- Weekly handle draw for members – be in to win.
- Weekly meat raffle.
- Kids Christmas (we even manage to get Santa to stop by)
- Adults Christmas with music, food and lots of fun.
- Men’s weekend – 2 days fishing with prizes at the end of each day.
- Ladies weekend – 2 or 3 days away, relaxing and having fun.
- Mid-winter Christmas
- Horse racing night
- Poker runs
- Rawhiti weekend
- Pot luck dinners
- You can hire the club for private functions and our chefs can do the catering.
- A restaurant with delicious, reasonably priced food and desserts.
These are the regular events that are arranged and there are always a few extra thrown in throughout the year.
So why not come on down, try out the food in our restaurant and see what we are all about. Children are welcome and we have a safe kids playground.
